How courageous are you?

There are so many things in life that we have very little control over. But how we want to be and what we want to achieve is not one of these. Not if you are empowered – which is essentially the ability to make a difference. One of the critical ingredients of empowerment is courage.

The coming year is unknown, particularly in terms of the economy. Deciding to make a difference in 2014 in this environment may take you into unknown territory. Any journey into the unknown needs a personal leap of faith, which takes courage. Courageous people confront the things that they fear, and allow life, situations and people to unfold, knowing that regardless of what happens they will be able to respond appropriately to any eventuality.

Now we all have our worries and concerns, but some of these have been paralysing us from moving forward.   However, to improve, it is helpful to gain some insight into where we are starting.
